Recipe Post | Breastfeeding Brownies

Ingredients
- 40g cacao powder
- 60g almond meal or gluten free flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 80ml honey or maple syrup
- 60g nut butter
- 60g black tahini
- 1 egg (or if vegan, 1Tbs chia seeds soaked in 3Tbs water for 15min)
- vanilla extract
- 90ml any milk
- Pinch of sea salt
- 2 Tbs black sesame seeds
- 1-2 Tbs hemp seeds
- 100g good quality dark choc chips or chopped dark chocolate
For the drizzle:
- 2 heaped Tbs black tahini
- 1 Tbs maple syrup or to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 deg & line a rectangular loaf tin with baking paper.
- Pop all the ingredients into a bowl & mix until smooth & well combined. Taste the batter, it’s yummy.
- Spoon the batter into your prepared tin and smooth it out at the top.
- Bake for 25 min. Remove from oven & allow to cool in tin before slicing.
- To make it look & taste even better, mix a little extra black tahini & maple, & drizzle over the top!
